We are frequently asked by our autobody repair customers why should they bother with wax. There are quite a few reasons you may not have considered. Waxes are not difficult to use like they use to be. We recommend Meguiar's #26. Not because its the best made today or cheap. We recommend it because it is easy to use. Think of wax as a cheap clearcoat added to protect your paint surface. When your bumper is waxed, minor bumps scratch the wax instead of your vehicle's paint. Those dreaded fingernail marks behind your door handle can have been avoided with just wax. Try to wax it now and you may still be able to save it.
